Mom tips for 2015

Is this how the holidays make you feel?

Perhaps you are doing way too much!

Recently I wrote a guest blog post for a friend called The Myth of Multitasking.
So often we think the more we do, the more we get done.

As busy moms we have this feeling we need to do EVERYTHING for EVERYONE.

Let's try something new for 2015 - let's take care of ourselves and believe it or not you may just find yourself much more productive!

Here are some tips:
  • Do something for you each and every day.  Start small. 10 minutes a day.  Perhaps take a walk, exercise, meditate.  Whatever makes you happy!
  • Delegate, Delegate, Delegate.  Your kids can do so much more than you think.  Age appropriately provide chores for them to do.  It will help them mature and feel a sense of purpose and responsibility and it will lighten your load around the house.  WIN WIN!

  • Do one thing at a time.  Focus and stay mindful of what you are doing and do it well.
  • Lastly - Celebrate your wins.  Take time to pat yourself on the back!
