How often do we try to please everyone and then blame ourselves when it does not work? I know I fall into this distorted thinking at times. Just today I needed this reminder. We often personalize situations which are not personal. What is the story we tell ourselves? How can we change our self-talk and recognize the difference between what we can and what we can't control in our lives?
