There are so many things in our lives we do not have control over. When it comes to what we think, it is important to know that we do not need to believe every thought we have. Over time we can change our automatic thoughts through neuroscience. It starts with choosing where we want to put our attention. When we think about what is good in our lives, we are able to see more of that good. Spending time each and every day focused on what we are grateful for and choosing our thoughts can make a positive impact on our lives.
